The primary focus of the Aus-AfriTec Team is to address mental health issues prevalent within the African Australian community and among international students from Africa. They understand that migration, cultural adaptation, and the pressures of academic life can significantly impact an individual’s mental well-being. Hence, they provide accessible and culturally sensitive mental health services to ensure those in need receive the required support.

He is a member of AASW working as a mental health clinician. He completed a dual degree in Bachelor of social work (Hon), Bachelor of Criminology, and Criminal Justice from UNSW.   

Research Fellow at CSIRO. PhD in Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering. Experience in IT, Programming, Content Development, Research, and Leadership.

PhD in Chemical Engineering (Food and Health). Master of Public Health. Vast teaching and field experience in Africa. Data analysts served on governing boards. Provides Teaching Support at UNSW.

Masters in Advanced Social Work. Vast experience in mental health, community development, substance abuse, health promotion, and elderly care. Mental health clinician at Neami National.

Two decades of teaching support at UNSW—research focus, art, family, state violence, trauma, and representation politics. 

PhD in Pediatrics and Child Health. Vast experience in Pediatrics nutrition. Expertise in budgeting, financing, and its application in her career.
