Students receive ongoing support from Aus-Afritec throughout the placement. This includes regular mental health support, check-ins, troubleshooting assistance, and academic guidance.
Placements are designed to complement your academic learning by providing practical, hands-on experience. They count towards course credits and skill assessments and are integral to meeting the learning outcomes of your degree program.
Yes, all placements are supervised by qualified professionals in the field. These professionals provide guidance and feedback throughout your experience to ensure it is educational and beneficial.
Some placements may offer a stipend to cover basic administrative costs incurred by students. However, whether a placement is paid can vary based on the academic institutions, the hosting institution and specific program requirements.
Currently, Aus-Afritec does not offer online, regional, or international placements. All placements are conducted onsite to ensure the most comprehensive educational experience.
Students are not allowed to work from home during their placement. All placement activities must be completed at the designated host institution or site to provide direct, hands-on experience under supervision.
